Medina
For people looking for a secure, intimate neighborhood on the Eastside, Medina is a great option. Big on privacy and safety, Medina has its own police force and maintains cameras located at car entry points capturing information on all who come and go. While known for being home to many of the more prominent tech entrepreneurs in the world, it has still managed to keep its low-key, small-town vibe. It has its own post office, Overlake Golf & Country Club, City Hall, St Thomas Church, beautiful parks, and the “Green Store” which recently became a Kitchen + Market. The elementary school, Medina Elementary, is exceptional. This is why I chose to raise my boys here when they were young.
The town boasts a mix of luxurious single-family homes, many of which feature waterfront or waterfront access to Lake Washington, adding to their desirability. The town’s proximity to downtown Seattle, top-rated schools, and a serene, tree-lined environment make it a prime choice for affluent homebuyers seeking a blend of urban convenience and suburban tranquility.
